Reed Palmer belted his 16th home run of the season, went 3 for 4 and drove in five runs to lead Team Blue to a 8-3 win over Team White at Udall Park this morning in a 60-and-over Tucson Old Timers game.
Team Blue's John Mathews went 4 for 5 and Dave Byars went 3 for 5, while Mike Taylor went 2 for 3 and drove in two of the three runs for the losing team. Tim Tolson had a perfect day at the plate for Team White with five consecutive singles.
Pitcher Tim Boyd went the distance for Team Blue and picked up the win.
The TOTS will be back in action on Wednesday. Game time 9 a.m.
