Arizona Wildcats Basketball

Fresh off a win against the California Golden Bears Friday night,  the 18th-ranked Arizona Wildcats explode at Palo Alto tonight with a 91-52 win over the Stanford Cardinal.

Five players score in double figures with Rawle Alkins leading the way with 19 points and seven rebounds, while the big men for the Wildcats had an easy time of it under the bucket as Dusan Ristic scores 16 points for the second straight game and Lauri Markkanen nets 15 points. Chance Comanche came off the bench to record a double-double with 13 points and a team-high 10 rebounds.

Kobi Simmons capped off the double-figure scoring with 15 points. A banked-in three-pointer by Kory Jones during garbage time brought a big cheer from the Wildcat bench and the Arizona Wildcat fans who were on hand to witness the game at Maples Pavilion.

Arizona  (13-2, 2-0) sweeps the Bay Area and head home to face the Utah Utes on Thursday night.
