Wildcats roll at Pauley Pavilion

Arizona Wildcats Basketball

He's back!

Finally, Allonzo Trier is back on the court.

But, guess what?

He just joined in the fun as six Wildcats hit in double figures with Kobi Simmons leading the way with 20 points in a 96-85 romp over the third-ranked UCLA Bruins today at the Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles.

As for Trier, he scored 12 points, grabbed sevens rebounds and dished out four assists, while Lauri Markkanen finished with 18 points and matched Trier in rebounds with seven. It didn't end there as Dusan Ristic pumped in 11 points, Rawle Alkins netted 10 points, Chance Comanche chipped in 10 and Kadeem Allen added nine points.

Arizona rotated nine players and coach Sean Miller was able to rest players through out the game. Parker Jackson-Cartwright made the most of his 18 minutes on the court with six points, two rebounds and four assists. Eight players played at least 17 minutes with Keanu Pinder playing the least amount with four minutes.

Miller did his job from the sideline and the Wildcats, at full strength for the first time all year, did their job on the court.

Arizona shoots 50 percent from the floor (34 of 68 field goals) and hits nine of 20 three-pointers (45 percent). The Wildcats make 19 of 21 from the free throw line and out rebounded the Bruins, 42-33.

Arizona improves to 18-2 overall and 7-0 in the Pac-12. They have now won 12 games in a row.

Way to go, Wildcats!
