Diamondbacks send Rockies to the cellar in the NL West

The Arizona Diamondbacks ended up playing two games today in Colorado.

They won both.

Arizona wins 13-7 and 5-1. Josh Collmenter (3-3) gets the decision in the first game and Robbie Ray (1-0), who was brought up from the minors for a one-game appearance, gets the victory in the nightcap.

Mark Trumbo and Aaron Hill hit home runs in the first game, while Paul Goldschmidt hits his 7th home run of the year in the nightcap.

The Diamondbacks, now 12-14 on the season, head home to better weather and a four-game series with the San Diego Padres. Rubby De La Rosa (2-2) goes after his third win of the season in the opener on Thursday.
