Paul Goldschmidt hit his 12th home run and collected his 38th RBI today as the Diamondbacks beat the Chicago Cubs 4-3 and win the three-game series at Chase Field two games to one to pull to within one game of the .500 mark at 21-22.

Jeremy Hellickson goes 6 2/3 innings today to improve to 2-3 on the year. He struck out four and walked one, while allowing just four hits.

Arizona opens a three-game series in St. Louis on Monday.
