Arizona 87 San Diego State 70
Kerr Kriisa and Courtney Ramey combined for 42 points as the 14th-ranked Arizona Wildcats (5-0) pulled away from San Diego State (4-1) with a 50-point second half en route to an 87-70 win over the 17th-ranked Aztecs tonight in Lahaina, Hawaii, to advance to the championship game of the Maui Invitational on Wednesday against 10th-ranked Creighton.
Despite being in foul trouble for most of the second half, Arizona still shot 58.6 percent from the field (34 of 58) and made 9 of 20 from long range as Kriisa and Ramey finished with 21 points apiece, while Azuolas Tubelis scored 14, Oumar Ballo 12 and Cedric Henderson Jr. finished with 10 points.
Creighton (6-0) edged Arkansas, 90-87, in the other semifinal matchup earlier today behind a 25-point performance from guard Ryan Nembhard.
Way to go, Wildcats!
