No-hitter in Philly

The 2022 MLB World Series

Houston  5   Philadelphia  0

The Series tied at 2-2

The second no-hitter in World Series history went down in Philadelphia tonight -- a combined no-hitter -- as four Houston pitchers shut down the Phillies, 5-0.

The last no-hitter in the World Series occurred in 1956 by Don Larsen, the New York Yankee great who threw a perfect game against the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Christian Javier (photo) started for the Astros and struck out nine in six innings of work. Three relievers -- Bryan Abreu, Rafael Montero, and Ryan Pressly -- closed out the Phillies.
