Quarterback Jayden de Laura felt the pressure from Washington State's defense for four quarters today at Arizona Stadium as the Cougars (7-4, 4-4) leave town with a 31-20 win over the Wildcats.
de Laura was edgy on the Arizona sideline throughout the game as miscommunication between his receivers became more and more evident as the time on the game clock continued to spin forward. Still, in the end, it goes in the books as four interceptions and one touchdown through the air for de Laura late in the fourth quarter.
Arizona is left with a 4-7 overall record, 2-6 Pac 12 Conference, with one game remaining in its season next Friday at home against in-state rival Arizona State (3-8, 2-6).
