Escala gives up just 7 hits in 8-4 TOTS' win

Ernesto Escala gave up just seven hits and went the distance, Bob Daliege banged out two hits and knocked in a run, while Dave Byars had a key hit and two RBI as Team White scored eight runs in the first two innings and held off Team Blue 8-4 in a 60-and-over Tucson Old Timers game today at Udall Park.

Team Blue's Mike Steele and Bobby Long combined for five hits in six total at bats, while John Mathews had a key hit and drove in two of the four runs for the losing team.

The TOTS got all three games in this week and will take the weekend off, before resuming play on Monday with a 9 a.m. game at Udall.
