TOTS' November schedule gets underway with an 8-7 ball game

60-and-over baseball


The 60-and-over Tucson Old Timers got off to a good start today, the first day of November, with a competitive 8-7 ball game at Udall Park. Team Blue gets the win thanks in part to Tim Tolson and Jesse Ochoa. The two players combined for eight hits, while Reed Palmer provided a triple and Mike Steele collected three RBI.

Team White hit the ball as well with Pete Peters leading the way with three hits and scored three runs. Lloyd Barzell singled and knocked in two runs, while John Mathews went 2 for 2 and scored twice.

The TOTS will take the weekend off and return to action on Monday with a 10:00 a.m. start.
