60-and-over baseball
Doc Thompson, 76, went 3 for 4 and drove in three runs to lead Team Blue to a 8-6 win over Team White at Udall Park this morning in a 60-and-over Tucson Old Timers game.
Bob Daliege started the game for Team Blue and picked up the win, while lefty Ron Petersen picked up the save. Pete Maldonado went the distance for Team White and was the losing pitcher, while teammate Mike Griffo, the latest addition to the TOTS, went 3 for 3.
The TOTS return to action on Wednesday at Udall. Game time: 9 a.m.
