Tate impressive in Wildcats win over Southern Utah

Khalil Tate went to the air at Arizona Stadium tonight.

The result five touchdown passes for 349 yards as Arizona (1-2) pounds Southern Utah 62-31 to pick up a non-conference win and the first victory of the season for the Wildcats.

Arizona puts up over 600 yards of total offense tonight before clearing the bench. A couple of fourth-quarter scores included rushing touchdowns from reserve running backs Anthony Mariscal and Branden Leon. Rhett Rodriguez played quarterback for most of the fourth quarter, while the Arizona starters celebrated on the sideline.

Now the real season begins. Nine Pac-12 Conference games await, starting with Oregon State next Saturday in Corvallis.
