Tough road trip for the Wildcats

Arizona Wildcats Basketball

It was a tough road trip for the Arizona Wildcats.

On Thursday, UCLA beat the Wildcats on a three-pointer with 1.8 seconds remaining and tonight, at the Galen Center, it was even tougher as Arizona falls to USC in four overtimes, 103-101.

Arizona, the 7th-ranked team in the country, returns home with a 13-3 overall record and a 1-2 record in the Pac-12.

Allonzo Trier led the Wildcats with 25 points, while Kaleb Tarczewski scored 16 points and hauled in 12 rebounds. Gabe York scored 21 points, Dusan Ristic finished with 13 points and Kadeem Allen scored 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds.

But all of the above, just wasn't good enough as the Trojans escaped with an exhausting, hard-fought win. Arizona heads home for some home cooking. The Wildcats take on Washington on Thursday.
