Pac-12 Conference finishes 6-4 in bowl games

Oregon squanders a 31-0 halftime lead and loses 47-41 in triple-overtime to TCU at the Alamo Bowl last night, while ASU falls 43-42 at Chase Field in the Cactus Bowl.

All the teams from the Pac-12 Conference played well in the postseason bowl games, but the two losses last night resulted in a 6-4 showing, good enough for second among all the conferences. The SEC, as usual, was the big winner at 8-2.

That's 41 bowl games in the books with one BIG ONE to go -- the national champion game on Jan. 11 as No. 1 Clemson takes on No. 2 Alabama at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

It was strange watching football at Chase Field. By the way, the Cactus Bowl drew 39, 321 compared to the Arizona Bowl in Tucson, which drew 20, 425.
