Tucson Old Timers (TOTS)
60-and-over baseball
It was a cold, cold morning, but that didn't stop the Tucson Old Timers (TOTS) from playing their final game of the year today at Udall Park.
Team White won the game 8-0 over Team Blue, behind a four-hit, shutout from right-hander Bob Daliege. Team White got all the runs they needed in the first inning, thanks to back-to-back RBI singles from Tim Tolson and Joe Opocensky.
As for Team Blue, their bats were as cold as ice. All Team Blue could muster were singles by Tim Boyd, Pete Peters, Jesse Ochoa and Dick Ducklow.
The TOTS ended another season today and will be begin the 60-and-over baseball club's 49th season on Monday.
