Arizona softball improves to 27-7



Arizona Wildcats Softball

Arizona added two non-conference wins on Saturday, beating New Mexico State, 14-2 and 11-6, to improve to 27-7 on the season. The Wildcats are 2-1 in Pac-12 play and return to conference action at Hillenbrand Stadium with a three-game series against rival Arizona State, beginning on Friday at 5 p.m.

Chelsea Goodacre hit three home runs in the first game at New Mexico State and drove in seven runs during the doubleheader. Goodacre has 205 RBI for her career, 10th most in school history and she has 59 homers during her career at Arizona, tied for sixth all time.
