Arizona clinches Pac-12 title

Brandon Ashley set the tone at McKale tonight with 15 points and six rebounds in the first half and the Arizona Wildcats went on to claim their second consecutive Pac-12 title with a 99-60 trashing of the California Golden Bears.

Arizona (27-3 overall, 15-2 in the Pac-12) had an easy time of it again tonight as coach Sean Miller cleared the bench late in the second half as the fifth-ranked Wildcats won for the 37th consecutive time at home without a loss.

The Wildcats led 48-27 at the end of the first half and shot 50 percent from the field (18 for 36).

Before the final buzzer sounded:

-- Ashley ties a career high in points with 21 to go along with six rebounds and two assists

-- Kaleb Tarczewski scored 14 points and eight rebounds

-- Stanley Johnson  scored 12 points and grabbed five rebounds

-- Rondae Hollis-Jefferson netted 10 points, two rebounds and one assist

-- T.J. McConnell finished with eight points, four rebounds and 11 assists and no turnovers

-- Dusan Ristic came off the bench to score 11 points and grabs eight rebounds

-- Gabe York came off the bench to score 11 points and three rebounds

-- 11 Wildcats scored and Arizona finished the night hitting 56 percent from the field (38 for 67)
