Not much to cheer about up in Phoenix

There's not a lot to cheer about at the moment if you're a die-hard Phoenix sports fan. My goodness, did the Arizona Cardinals stink it up Sunday or what? I have a hard time just pressing the number keys 5-8-0. That's Seattle 58, Arizona 0. Wow! Nine straight losses. And the Phoenix Suns, well they aren't doing much better. Suns lose to Orlando in Phoenix last night, 98-90 -- the Suns' seventh straight loss, their worse losing streak since 2004. We can't turn to baseball yet. It's only December! Let's hope the brass in the Arizona Diamondbacks' organization make some worthwhile trades in the coming months. Come April, the residents in Phoenix will need something to cheer about.
