The Arizona Wildcats basketball team moved up to No. 8 in the country this week as the latest AP Poll was announced on Monday. Tonight at McKale Center the Wildcats will put their high ranking to the test as they host Southern Mississippi, a team which started out 6-0, but saw its streak busted Saturday night in Las Cruces 68-60 by New Mexico State. Southern Miss found out rather quickly that playing in Las Cruces is no picnic and they should find the going even rougher as they venture into McKale.
