Hoffman the early leader at The Masters
The Masters
Charley Hoffman found the back nine to his liking at Augusta National today and fired seven birdies to jump out to a four shot lead at The Masters. Hoffman carded a 65, while the runner-up on Day 1 was William McGirt with an opening-round of 69.
The shock of the day: Dustin Johnson withdraws from the tournament due to a back injury.
