Wildcats a no show in Eugene

Arizona Wildcats Basketball

There was a shootout in Eugene, Oregon, today and one team forgot to bring their guns.

The 13th-ranked Oregon Ducks (21-3, 10-1) threw down 16 three-pointers and crushed the 5th-ranked Arizona Wildcats (21-3, 10-1), 85-58.

Arizona didn't bring any weapons along for this one. The Wildcats scored just 18 points in the first half and were completely out manned as Oregon knocked home 10 of 13 from three-point land and led 38-18 at the half.

The only consolation for the Wildcats: No. 2 Baylor lost today as did No. 3  Kansas.

And the season is long from over.

Rawle Alkins led the Wildcats today with 16 points and six rebounds.
