Arizona Wildcats Basketball

Lauri Markkanen is back...and so is Parker Jackson-Cartwright.

PGC started tonight in Pullman, Washington, in place of the injured Kadeem Allen and responded with a career-high 20 points and Markkanen returned to form with 19 points and 11 rebounds as 5th-ranked Arizona beats Washington State 78-59 to improve to 24-3 on the season and 13-1 in the Pac-12 Conference.

Rawle Alkins also scored in double figures with 13, while three players -- Allonzo Trier, Chance Comanche and Kobi Simmons tallied eight points apiece.  Trier, had an off night offensively with a 3 for 13 shooting performance, but led the Wildcats with a game-high 12 rebounds.

Arizona shot 45.2 percent from the field (28 of 62) and canned 10 of 18 three-pointers. The Wildcats also out rebounded the Cougars, 42-27.

And now it's on to Seattle on Saturday to face the Washington Huskies.
