Wildcats prepare for 3-game series with Sacramento State

The Arizona Wildcats (8-4) will take on Sacramento State in a three-game series at Hi Corbett Field on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Wildcats went 3-1 over the weekend, capping off the Wildcat Invitational Sunday with two wins -- 11-5 over St. Marys and 4-1 over Northwestern State.

Nathan Bannister ended the  Wildcat Invitational by tossing a three-hit gem to improve his record to 2-0. He hurled 6 2/3 innings, walked none and struck out five batters.

Ryan Aguilar is the Wildcats top hitter after 12 games. Aguilar is 16 for 44 with three doubles and one home run.
