One of the rookies on the TOTS is 66-year-old Alan Rasmussen.
Rasmussen, who joined the TOTS in 2015, grew up in Vernal, Utah -- also known as Dinosaurland. Vernal is home to the largest prehistoric Jurassic dinosaur bones.
As for Alan, he may have out ran a few dinosaurs when he was in high school. He was that fast. Alan ran the regular mile back in 1967 in four minutes and 38 seconds. Make no bones about it, that's not too shabby!
Rasmussen is still pretty fast and can beat out a grounder for a hit from time to time. Alan is 14 for 30 for the months of January and February as he begins his first full season with the TOTS.
