Arizona Wildcats Baseball
Arizona salvages one of the three games with Washington State this weekend at Hi Corbett Field with a 5-2 win in the finale today, thanks in part to a home run from Daniel Susac (photo left). Starter Chandler Murphy (1-0)) pitched five shutout innings in the win. Murphy struck out two and didn't walk a batter.
The Wildcats fall to 22-10 overall and drop to 10-5 in the Pac-12 Conference. The last place Cougars are 4-11 in the conference and 12-19 overall.
Arizona lost the opener to the Cougars 11-5 on Friday, despite a grand slam home run from Noah Turley, and lost 6-5 on Saturday.
