First 48 hours is a killer

It's been 48 hours since my surgery on my right foot. I put the surgery off for a year...and now I wish I'd waited another year. The doctor shaved off the fractured bone spur in my right heel and worked on the Achilles tendon. The rumor is he may have done a little extra. I'll find out what that's all about in 10 days when I hobble into the Tucson Orthopedic Center for a visit.

It is painful, guys...make no bones about it.
