I can only imagine what it would be like to walk out of a major league dugout, stroll to the plate and crush a baseball over 400 feet. What does it feel like to be Mr. Jim Thome? The man hit two homers last night -- No. 599 and 600! Thome is now the eighth major league ball player to whack 600 career home runs. Amazing! Bonds...Aaron...Ruth...Mays...Griffey...Rodriquez...Sosa and now Thome. Another historic night in baseball. The 40-year-old Thome has spent 20 years in the major leagues. That averages out at 30 round-trippers a year. Congrats, Mr. Thome.
