Dick Tomey (1938-2019)

The Wildcat Nation mourns the loss of legendary football coach Dick Tomey, who passed away Friday, May 10, at the age of 80 -- the winningest football coach in the history of Arizona sports.

Diagnosed with lung cancer in December, Tomey spent 14 years at Arizona, finishing with a 95-64-4  record -- including a  12-1 record in 1998 and a win over Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl.
