Arizona moves to 24-22 with 2 non-conference wins

The Arizona Wildcats (24-22) played a doubleheader last night at Hi Corbett Field, knocking off Sam Houston State, 14-7 and 16-2. Dayton Dooney collected five RBI in Game 1 and Cameron Cannon knocked in four runs in Game 2.

Freshman George Arias Jr. picked up his first win as a Wildcat with four solid innings in a reliever role in the second game of the night.

The Wildcats head for Penn State and three more non-conference games on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
