Peralta "top gun" for Diamondbacks

It's not surprising to see David Peralta at the top of the stat sheet for the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Just a few days into the May schedule, Peralta leads the Diamondbacks with a .312 average. His 44 hits leads the club and his 24 RBI in 33 games is second only to Ketel Marte with 26. Marte leads the club in home runs with nine.

Arizona finds themselves second in the NL West with a 20-14 record. The Diamondbacks are at Tampa Bay tonight, Tuesday and Wednesday before returning home for a 10-game home stand with the Braves, the Pirates and the Giants.
