A frustrating Week 1 for my fantasy football team.

Team Priceless loses a wide receiver to injury and the loss proved costly as Clam Jammers wins the first-week matchup, 99.90 to 92.32, in the UPC Hood Fantasy Football League.

I got off to a good start last Thursday, thanks mainly to my fantasy quarterback Tom Brady, who threw four touchdowns passes as the New England Patriots edged the Pittsburgh Steelers, 28-21.

My wide receiver, Washington's DeSean Jackson, went down in the first quarter on Sunday with a hamstring injury. The loss also hurt the Redskins as they went on to lose their season opener 17-10 to Miami.

The good news: Brady earned 27.62 in fantasy points, tops among all the quarterbacks in Week 1.

Oh well, maybe next week.
