Arizona Wildcats Football
There should be a shade over 50,000 fans cheering on the Wildcats at Arizona Stadium on Thursday night as Arizona opens the 2015 season against the Roadrunners from the University of Texas at San Antonio or in short UTSA.
Arizona hung on for a 26-23 victory over UTSA last season at the Alamodome. Two years ago, the Wildcats won at home, 38-13.
Will Solomon lead them? Anu Solomon will be back at quarterback for the Wildcats again this season and the running game should be headed up by returning running back Nick Wilson. Ranked No. 22 in the preseason AP poll, Arizona should by 3-0 after Week 3 with wins over UTSA, Nevada and Northern Arizona. After those three softies, it'll be nine straight Pac-12 Conference games.
My guess: 9-3, but hoping for 10-2 or better.
