The 2nd-ranked Arizona Wildcats begin their 2014-15 basketball season tonight at McKale as they take on Mount St. Mary's. Stanley Johnson, Dusan Ristic, Parker-Jackson Cartwright are three of the new players expected to see a lot of action tonight, along with returnees T.J. McConnell, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Gabe York, Kaleb Tarczewski and Brandon Ashley.

It'll be a 6 p.m. tipoff. Can't wait!

Will Sean Miller find his top five out of the above eight and will one of the above emerge as the new leader of the Wildcats? It may be January before we have the answer to that question. Miller has already said publicly that his Wildcats need work. We'll find out just how much work is needed in a few hours.

Mount St. Mary's is the first blip in the radar and the Wildcats should roll no matter what combination Miller sends to the floor. I, for one, expect to be all smiles by say 9 p.m. tonight.
