Arizona rolls over Cal-Northridge 86-68

Stanley Johnson scored 17 points and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson netted 14 as Arizona rolled to an easy 86-68 win over Cal State Northridge tonight at McKale to improve to 2-0 on the season.

The second-ranked Wildcats cleared the bench in this one and it was garbage time the final few minutes. Brandon Ashley chipped in 13 points and Elliott Pitts had a career-high 10 points as Arizona  led by 28 before Sean Miller emptied the bench.

T.J. McConnell had another outstanding night running the floor for the Wildcats. McConnell scored seven points, recorded eight assists and hauled in seven rebounds.

Arizona takes on UC Irvine on Wednesday at McKale.
