Arizona vs. San Diego in Maui finale
Arizona Wildcats Basketball
Arizona, now ranked third in the latest Associated Press college basketball rankings, will take on 15th-ranked San Diego State in the Maui Invitational title game Wednesday night.
San Diego State knocked off BYU in two overtimes in its tourney opener on Monday and tonight rolled by Pittsburgh 74-57, while the Arizona Wildcats beat Missouri by 19 on Monday and edged a tough Kansas State team earlier today, 72-68.
Arizona (5-0) will go up against the Aztecs (5-0) and their coach Steve Fisher in the tourney finale.
The Wildcats and coach Sean Miller would love to get off to a good start against the Aztecs, something they failed to do against Missouri and Kansas State.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Brandon Ashley chipped in 15 points apiece to lead Arizona over Missouri and today it was center Kaleb Tarczewski with 18 points and guard Gabe York with 15 points leading the charge.
