It takes five hours, 32 minutes but D'backs win

Nothing is ever easy for the Arizona Diamondbacks.


Arizona wins 9-8 in 14 innings last night at Chase Field as Aaron Hill provides the walk-off single and the Diamondbacks take down the Indians in the first game of a two-game home stand against Cleveland.

The game lasted five hours and 32 minutes -- matching the longest game in the history of the Diamondbacks at Chase Field.

Josh Collmenter (6-4) gets the win in relief as the Diamondbacks pound out 19 hits -- four of those hits coming from Ender Inciarte and five from Gerardo Parra.

Arizona improves to 33-47.
