Diamondbacks take 2 of 3 from Padres
Arizona Diamondbacks
The Arizona Diamondbacks (35-49) won the first two games in San Diego and for one fleeting moment they were out of the cellar. Today the D'backs lost the getaway game, 2-1. The Diamondbacks collect just five hits off the Padres' pitching staff, while San Diego won the game despite just four hits -- three off Arizona's starter Mike Bolsinger (1-4).
It's on to Pittsburgh and a three-game series with the Pirates.
