Anderson no longer unbeaten

Arizona Diamondbacks

Chase Anderson didn't get the run support this time.

The rookie goes five innings in Los Angeles last night as the Dodgers slip by the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-3. Anderson (5-1) loses for the first time this year. He gave up a two-run homer to Matt Kemp and that was it. Arizona (29-41) tried to rally with an RBI-double in the third inning by Aaron Hill and an RBI-single in the eighth by Tuffy Gosewich but it wasn't enough run production and the rookie's winning streak is over.

Clayton Kershaw (6-2) goes seven strong innings for the Dodgers and gets the win.
