Arizona's baseball team struggling at 6-5

Arizona Wildcats Baseball

Not a very good start to the 2014 college baseball season for our Arizona Wildcats.

The 'Cats enter the week with a 6-5 record after losing three games over the weekend to visiting Seton Hall.

Scott Kingery and Zach Gibbons are the top two hitters for the Wildcats after 11 games. Kingery is batting .439 and Gibbons .419. Both players are tied in hits with 18. Arizona is batting .327 as a team, but seem to have issues on the mound. Arizona's pitching staff has a combined ERA of 4.41 with Jim Farris and Cody Hamlin tied for the best won-loss record at 2-1.

Long Beach State will be in town Tuesday and Wednesday for two games. Tuesday's game gets underway at Hi Corbett Field at 6 p.m. and Wednesday's start time will be at noon.
