TOTS' team turns to basketball, garners 2nd place at Senior Olympics
The Tucson Old Timers (TOTS)
3 on 3 Basketball team
The Tucson Old Timers (TOTS) can play basketball, too.
The TOTS 3 on 3 squad finished second today at the Tucson Senior Olympics.
Playing at the Old Pueblo Club in south Tucson, the TOTS' team of Reed Palmer, Tim Boyd, Lloyd Barzell, Mike Steele, Roger Beebe and Ray Garcia combined their efforts to finish runner up at the yearly tournament.
Way to go, TOTS!
Looks like we had some height this year with Palmer (6'6"), Tim Boyd (6'2") and Ray Garcia, a six-footer, or close to it, to go along with three peppery guards -- Barzell, Steele and Beebe.
Once again, great job guys!

And we were very competitive in one game! It was fun, saw friends from other teams, and most important--no serious injuries.
