Reed Palmer hit his second home run of the season and knocked in six runs, Doc Thompson went 2 for 4 and drove in four runs, while Ron Petersen went 4 for 5 to lead Team Blue to a 20-11 win over Team White at Udall Park today in a 60-and-over Tucson Old Timers game.
Palmer picked up the pitching victory, while John Mathews took the loss.
There were a lot of hits in this one -- even for the losing team. Arnie White went 4 for 5 for Team White, while teammates Tim Tolson and Mathews combined for six hits.
The TOTS will return to action on Friday at Udall with its first game in February. The temperature is expected to reach a warm 81 degrees on Friday.
