John Mathews update





It's all over for John Mathews and the Paladins at the MSBL World Series.

Mathews, a member of the 60-and-over Tucson Old Timers, played his final game for the Albuquerque team this morning as the Paladins lost a playoff game 12-3 to the Arkansas Diamonds at Fitch Park in Mesa.

Big John went 1 for 4 with a double and two RBI today to finish 5 for 15 for the week.

Way to go, Big John. The TOTS will be glad to have you back next week.

The 2017 MSBL World Series concludes Saturday with the finals in the 45-and-over and the 60-and-over division, while the 25-and-over division ends with their championship game on Sunday..
