The Chicago Cubs scored four runs in the top of the ninth inning in San Francisco tonight and beat the Giants 6-5 to advance to the National League Championship Series.

The Cubs, down 5-2, unleashed a bit of their magic in the ninth as they pounded five Giants' pitchers and go on to capture the NLDS three games to one and now await their opponent - either the LA Dodgers or the Washington Nationals.

The Dodgers evened their NLDS earlier today in Los Angeles with a 6-5 win over the Nationals. The two teams meet Thursday in Washington in the final game of the five-game series.
