The TOTS 2016 Luncheon and Award Ceremony a success

Bob Daliege won the 2016 TOT of the Year Award Thursday at the Tucson Old Timers annual luncheon and award ceremony, held in the Copper Room at the Randolph Park Golf Course.

A crowd of 58 attending the luncheon and were treated with a short speech and then a lengthy question and answer segment from Greg Hansen, the well-known sports columnist for the Arizona Daily Star.

Also receiving awards were Tim Tolson, the winner of the Joe Tappero Sportsmanship Award, Danny Price awarded the Hall of Fame Award (years with the TOTS, plus age totaling 80), and a special award, The TOTS Iron-Man Award, presented to 90-year-old Floyd Lance, a TOT since 1999 and still active -- becoming the oldest member in the history of the club to ever take to the field of play.
