Matijevic leads Wildcats to win over NMSU

JJ Matijevic went 3 for 5, 2 RBI, a double and a home run to lead the Arizona Wildcats to an 8-7 win over NMSU last night at Hi Corbett.

The Wildcats, fresh off a series' win over Stanford -- winning 2 of 3 games earlier in the week, improve their overall record to 23-14 and 7-8 in Pac-12 play.

Cody Ramer leads the Wildcats in hits with 53 while Nathan Bannister is Arizona's top starting pitcher at 5-1 and Bobby Dalbec is 7-3.
