60-and-over baseball
Ted Davis went 2 for 4 and drove in four runs to lead Team White to a 9-6 win over Team Blue at Udall Park today in a 60-and-over Tucson Old Timers baseball game.
Davis doubled in two runs in the third inning and singled in two more runs in a three-run fifth as Team White turned a 6-6 tie into a 9-6 lead.
Lloyd Barzell went 4 for 4 and drove in three runs for Team Blue in a losing cause. Lefty Dennis Crowley was the winning pitcher and right-hander Bob Daliege took the loss.
After three straight rain outs, the TOTS were a little rusty as each team committed their share of errors. The TOTS will be back in action on Monday.
