Super Bowl XLVIII not very super

Super Bowl XLVIII

The ads were terrible and Bruno Mars is no James Brown.

And, of course, there was a game won by the Seattle Seahawks over the Denver Broncos, 43-8.

No suspense from the get go as Seattle jumps ahead 2-0 on the first play from scrimmage and post 41 more points to demolish the Broncos by 35 points as John Elway, brother Eli and a full house of mostly New York football fans witness the lopsided affair at MetLife Stadium.

Somehow Eli's brother, Peyton, breaks a Super Bowl record with 34 completions for 280 yards, but it was the Seattle defense which came through tonight, limiting Manning and the Broncos to one touchdown and a two-point conversion.

There was a movie a few year back called, Sleepless in Seattle, but the Seahawks were wide awake in East Rutherford, New Jersey tonight. The Broncos were sound asleep.
