3 young guns and the old guy advance to semis at Accenture

2014 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship


Three young guns -- Rickie Fowler (USA), Jason Day (Australia) and Victor Dubuisson (France) advance to the semi finals at the 2014 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship today at Dove Mountain.

The fourth semi finalist is the old guy, the Big Easy himself, Ernie Els from South Africa.

Fowler will take on Day tomorrow and Dubuisson will matchup with Els. The winners of tomorrow morning's matchups will battle for the tourney title in the afternoon in what will probably turn out to be the final go around for the Tucson tournament.

Tucson is on a losing streak. First, we lose Spring Training and now we lose our prestigious February golf tournament. Sad! What''s next the Gem Show? If the Rodeo decides to close up shop, things would get pretty boring around here.

Chances are the Rodeo is a safe bet to stick around. Losing the Tucson Rodeo would be like the Steelers leaving Pittsburgh!
