Hill hits six 3-pointers as Wildcats blow by Cougars
Solomon Hill hit six 3-pointers in the first half and the Arizona Wildcats held on to beat Washington State 79-65 in Pullman tonight to move into a first-place tie in the Pac-12 with Oregon. Hill was on fire and closed out the first half with a heave from just outside the free throw line (of the Ducks, no less!) which bounced off the backboard and wiggled through the net, giving the Wildcats a 40-26 lead at intermission.
Hill went scoreless in the second half, but Mark Lyons picked up the slack and finished with 20 points. Brandon Ashley and Kaleb Tarczewski added 10 points apiece as all ten Wildcats scored. The win improved the Wildcats overall record to 19-2 and their Pac-12 Conference record to 7-2.
Way to go, Wildcats!
