A six-run bottom of the eighth inning today by Louisville kept Arizona from advancing in the 2025 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
The wheels came off for the Wildcats -- all set up by a couple of bloop hits, which eventually led to four unearned runs and an 8-3 loss to the Cardinals.
Arizona finished the season at 44-21.
